The OSIRIS project is delighted to introduce Dr. Veerle Van den Eynden.

Dr. Veerle Van den Eynden is an expert advisor within the Research Data Management Competence Centre and the Research Coordination Office at KU Leuven University, a partner of the OSIRIS consortium. The KU Leuven is a research-intensive university, featured in Europe’s top-15 universities within the Times Higher Education ranking, and the largest university in Belgium in terms of research funding and expenditure.
 
Veerle’s research focuses on data management, data sharing and researchers’ views, attitudes, motivations, and practices with regard to open science and data sharing. Her broad knowledge and expertise will greatly aid the OSIRIS project.
 
As the lead of the OSIRIS WP2, Dr. Veerle and her team will conduct a systematic literature review that will provide a structured understanding of reproducibility measures. Within this work package, the team will examine views, motivations, and practices for reproducibility from different stakeholder groups; audit research institutions, funders, and publishers on how they address and promote reproducibility in their policies, procedures, and guidelines and will conduct and publish case studies on exciting examples of reproducibility practice.
