The OSIRIS project is delighted to introduce Dr. Rita Banzi, a specialist in Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmaceutical Sciences. She carries out her research activities at the Mario Negri Institute in Milan. Her main research interests are the methodology of clinical research, systematic reviews and guidelines, and the transfer of research results into clinical practice. She also works in the field of medication regulatory policy and transparency in research.

Dr. Banzi teaches clinical research methodology in post-graduate courses at the University of Mila (IRFMN), which is a partner of the OSIRIS project, the Mario Negri Institute is a private and independent non-profit scientific organization which operates in the field of biomedical research, with the aim of improving human health. The public-health mission of the Mario Negri Institute is achieved through a working model of institutional integrity that bypasses several ways that commercialized research has corrupted transparent science, valid results, and trustworthy clinical practice.

Dr. Rita Banzi coordinates the OSIRIS activities at Mario Negri and actively participates in WP3 and WP5.
