The OSIRIS project is pleased to introduce our Coordinator, Dr Inge Stegeman.
Dr Stegeman works in the department of otorhinolaryngology at the University Medical Center Utrecht (UMCU), one of the largest public healthcare institutions in the Netherlands, where she has been appointed as an epidemiologist.
A key objective of her team’s work at the UMCU is to improve patient selection for specific treatments, which in turn will improve treatment outcomes. The UMCU also recognizes that to study and improve research quality, it is crucial to make research outputs more accessible to patients and physicians.
Dr Stegeman is also a member of the Utrecht Young Academy, a bridge between young and talented researchers.
Dr Stegeman contributes to the goals of UMCU with her work as an epidemiologist specialising in tinnitus and meta-science research in the field of medical science. She takes the helm of the OSIRIS project’s overall leadership (WP1) and the development of a training module (W/Ps).

Stay tuned to meet the other OSIRIS Consortium members creating evidence-based accountability and reliability in science!
