The IRISE project’s vision is to deepen understanding of reproducibility drivers, evaluate their effectiveness and provide concrete solutions to enhance scientific evidence. The project will foster a research culture of openness, integrity, and trustworthiness to advance reproducibility and knowledge (read more about the project here).

An alliance for change!

With the advances in science and the need to create trust in science through transparency and reproducibility – Open science has made steady progress over the past decades. Yet, this progress has a long way to go, as researchers and research enterprises are far from achieving complete open science. Therefore, the three EU-funded projects on Open Science, the OSIRIS (Open Science to Improve Reproducibility in Science), iRISE (Improving Reproducibility in Science), and TIER2 (enhancing Trust, Integrity and Efficiency in Research through next-level Reproducibility) projects, have joined forces to synergise their efforts and achieve greater impact in the advances towards Open, Reproducible and Trustworthy Science.

On June 6th, 2024, after the 8th World Conference on Research Integrity (WCRI), the Tree Project consortia gathered for our first in-person general assembly (GA) in Athens, Greece (read all about it here).

We are delighted to share insights from Emily Sena/Sarah McCann, the IRISE Project Co-coordinators, on the partnership and synergies between the projects.
