The OSIRIS project is pleased to announce that on December 19th, 2023, Dr. Inge Stegeman of UMCU and Prof. Florian Naudet of LORIER attended a workshop at UNESCO headquarters in Paris. The event brought together over fifty experts from research organisations, universities, national agencies and nonprofit organisations from three continents.

The workshop aimed to explore principles for building an open science monitoring framework with open technologies. During the day of this stimulating event, Dr. Stegeman presented the state of the art in biomedicine: too little registration, results posting, and data sharing. Let’s test some approaches that can improve the situation. The event presented an excellent opportunity to meet with a great diversity of colleagues working on this topic.

We look forward to working on collaborative projects to test the impact of those stimulating open science tools empirically.
