What happens when you ask a diverse group of researchers to complete the same sentence? We invited members of the OSIRIS consortium to respond to a simple prompt: “OSIRIS is…” 

The responses reflect the spirit of the project, interdisciplinary, collaborative, and deeply committed to strengthening reproducibility in science. For some, OSIRIS is about bringing science back to its foundation. For others, it is about transparency, trust, and improving the quality and transferability of research. Many describe it as a passionate community working together to make open science practices more impactful across Europe. 

Beyond methodologies and frameworks, OSIRIS is also a learning process. It challenges researchers to rethink how knowledge is created, shared, and owned. It inspires open-source tools, reusable models, and more transparent workflows. And it reminds us that improving science requires collective effort.
