The OSIRIS project has officially published its Open Science Plan, reinforcing its commitment to transparency, accessibility, and reproducibility in scientific research. As part of the European Union-funded initiative, the Open Science Plan outlines key strategies to ensure that OSIRIS research outputs, methodologies, and data are openly shared and widely accessible to all stakeholders.

The document highlights the project’s focus on addressing the reproducibility crisis through systematic literature reviews, randomized controlled trials, and policy audits. It also introduces measures to embed reproducibility within research strategies, ensuring that funders, publishers, and researchers integrate Open Science principles into their work.

OSIRIS is taking a proactive approach by pre-registering research activities, publishing open-access results, and making data available in trusted repositories OSF and others. The project also aims to engage a broader audience through co-creation activities, public involvement, and educational initiatives.

By making research more transparent and reproducible, OSIRIS is paving the way for a more reliable and accessible scientific ecosystem. The Open Science Plan is a living document that will continue to evolve throughout the project’s duration (2023–2026), integrating feedback from researchers and stakeholders.
