During the Joint General Assembly of the OSIRIS, TIER2, and iRISE consortia, Dr. Inge Stegeman, Coordinator of OSIRIS, shared reflections on the project’s major achievements and the value of the collaboration between the three Horizon Europe initiatives.
Dr. Stegeman highlighted the joint scoping review as one of the most significant outcomes to date, a product of close cooperation between OSIRIS and TIER2, now published and already serving as a foundation for the SOLES evidence platform developed by iRISE. This shared output demonstrates how the partnership enables results to be reused across projects, amplifying impact and reducing duplication of effort.
She noted that the collaboration has strengthened OSIRIS’s work by bringing together diverse expertise from different fields of science, all aligned around a common goal: improving reproducibility across Europe. According to Dr. Stegeman, each consortium contributes a complementary perspective, allowing the partnership to address system-level challenges more effectively.
Looking ahead, OSIRIS aims to support future joint activities through its work on training, policy guidelines, and the development of reproducibility recommendations. Dr. Stegeman also emphasised the importance of building a more formal basis for long-term collaboration among the consortia and the broader European reproducibility community.
These insights reflect the shared commitment of OSIRIS, TIER2, and iRISE to strengthening reproducibility and building a more open, trustworthy European research system. Further updates and materials from the partnership will continue to be shared as the projects advance toward their final milestones.
